The Immigration Department says waits are longer at peak hours, especially in peak travel seasons, on holidays and at weekends.

Which border crossings are open 24 hours?

Passengers can cross at any hour at Lok Ma Chau (Huanggang) and Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge. The others close at night: Lo Wu 6:30 am – midnight; Lok Ma Chau Spur Line 6:30 am – 10:30 pm; Shenzhen Bay 6:30 am – midnight; Heung Yuen Wai 7 am – 10 pm; Man Kam To 7 am – 10 pm.
