Getting there from the airport
Take the Airport Express to Tsing Yi (13–14 minutes), change to the Tung Chung Line for two stops to Nam Cheong, then take the Tuen Ma Line to Sung Wong Toi or Kai Tak. Both stations are about a 10-minute walk from the Sports Park. You stay underground with lifts throughout, which is the easiest way with a suitcase. Riding the Airport Express all the way to Kowloon and walking to Austin is no faster and costs more (HK$105).
On a budget, bus A22 runs from the airport through Kowloon to Ma Tau Chung Road, near Sung Wong Toi, in about 88 minutes for HK$40.8.

Plan your trip from the airport to Kai Tak Sports Park
Plan this trip nowLuggage: sort it out before the show
- Don't bring a suitcase to the stadium. Check your ticket and the organiser's bag rules: big bags are usually refused, and the crowd walk to the MTR is long.
- Kowloon Station left baggage (Airport Express, Level G) is open 08:00–18:00 only, HK$60 for up to 3 hours or HK$87 for up to 24 hours, cash only. It closes before a concert ends, so you can't collect your bag after the show. Use your hotel, or the airport's own baggage storage, instead.
- Flying out the same night? If you fly with Cathay Pacific, check in and drop your bags at Hong Kong Station from 24 hours up to 90 minutes before departure (until 23:00). Then go to the show with just a small bag, and take the Airport Express to the airport afterwards. Other airlines: see MTR's in-town check-in list. Hours vary and Kowloon Station closes at 15:00.
Back to the airport after the show
Shows starting at 8:15pm usually end between about 10:30 and 11pm. Leaving the stadium and getting onto a train can take 20–40 minutes on a sold-out night. Follow police and MTR staff directions, and open the Police Easy Leave site for live crowd levels.
- Walk to To Kwa Wan or Sung Wong Toi (Tuen Ma Line). Staff may direct you to a particular station.
- Take the Tuen Ma Line towards Tuen Mun and change at Nam Cheong to the Tung Chung Line towards Tung Chung.
- Change at Tsing Yi to the Airport Express. The last one leaves Tsing Yi at 00:59, so be on the Tuen Ma Line by about 00:30.
- Missed it? Bus E23A leaves from Sung Wong Toi (Prince Edward Road East) and reaches Terminal 1 in about 2h02 for HK$18.6. Night bus NA21 runs from Mong Kok, and you can reach it by N293 or N216. A taxi from the official pick-up point outside Gate H is the quickest way with bags.
