Getting home from a concert at Kai Tak Stadium

Updated

The Weeknd · Sat 24, Sun 25, Fri 30 and Sat 31 Oct · 8:15pmThe Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Tour plays Kai Tak Stadium on Sat 24, Sun 25, Fri 30 and Sat 31 Oct 2026, with the show at 8:15pm (Live Nation). The end time isn't published. Check TD and the Police Easy Leave site on the night for that show's special buses and crowd routes.

Quick answer: Walk to Sung Wong Toi (via West Bridge) or Kai Tak (via Central Square) on the Tuen Ma line. On recent concert nights MTR has run trains more often after the show. Special buses have also left from the Sung Wong Toi Road pick-up area about 15 minutes after the end: SP2 to Mong Kok, SP10 to Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Admiralty and Central, A25S to the HZMB port and airport, and more. Avoid the first wave: walking 10–15 minutes to a bus or minibus stop on Ma Tau Kok Road or Prince Edward Road East is often quicker.

Heading home to Shenzhen? Kai Tak Sports Park’s event guides say the last Tuen Ma trains that connect to Lo Wu (change at Tai Wai) leave Sung Wong Toi at 10:59pm and Kai Tak at 11:01pm. Shows start at 8:15pm, so those trains are usually gone by the end. If you miss them, take a cross-boundary coach from the stadium G/F coach area, or special bus SP12 to Huanggang Port, open 24 hours. Check Easy Leave and MTR on the night.

Taxis and driving

There's no parking without a reservation. After the show, taxis pick up at the Kai Tak Stadium taxi pick-up area (G/F outside Gate H). The Arena taxi area is drop-off only. Special buses leave from Sung Wong Toi Road; coaches leave from the stadium G/F coach area (escalator down outside Gate H). Private cars can pick up on Muk Wo Street (Kai Tak) or Ma Tau Kok Road (To Kwa Wan). Do not stop on Shing Kai Road — it's a 24-hour no-parking zone.
